Song of Songs is part of Bet Alpha’s limited edition handmade books made in the tradition of the great historical artist’s books. The theme of this work is the miraculous ingathering of Jews in our land.
A Russian artist, Zelly Smekhov, created the delicate etchings of an Ethiopian immigrant, which are matched by my dancing text. The work is hand printed on handmade paper especially produced for the edition.
